This is a necklace, that was made by a Ottoman Turkish prisoner of war in the early 1900's, held in Brittish POW camps during World War One. They made these during the war to supplement their food rations, or sent them home to their families to have them sell the items and make some money. The majority of beaded items made were snakes, but they also made jewelry and purses and watch fobs like I have up on this board.
